Delta4 Phantom+ Installed at New Drammen Hospital in Norway

The new Drammen Hospital in Norway has installed Delta4 Phantom+ as its radiotherapy department prepares to begin treating patients in fall 2025.

The system will support commissioning and independent patient-specific quality assurance (QA) for the hospital’s Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator.

Supporting Radiotherapy Commissioning and Patient QA

Delta4 Phantom+ provides independent 3D dose verification, allowing the medical physics team to evaluate delivered dose distributions during commissioning and in routine patient QA.

By using the same measurement system for both applications, the team can establish consistent verification procedures from the initial commissioning phase through to clinical operation.
