Delta4 Phantom+ and HexaMotion for Radixact Synchrony QA in Taiwan

Kaohsiung Medical University Hospital in Taiwan has installed Delta4 Phantom+ and Delta4 HexaMotion to support patient-specific and motion management QA for its Accuray Radixact system with Synchrony. The combined setup enables independent dose verification alongside realistic motion simulation.

Motion Management QA for Radixact Synchrony

Accuray Synchrony is designed to track and compensate for target motion during treatment delivery. Verifying these treatments requires QA that accounts for motion as well as delivered dose.

Delta4 HexaMotion simulates tumor movement and patient breathing patterns, while Delta4 Phantom+ measures the delivered dose distribution. Together, the systems enable medical physics teams to evaluate motion-managed treatments under realistic motion conditions.

The installation and user training were carried out by the Delta4 Team together with our Taiwanese partner, Win-Safe Medical Instrument Co., Ltd.
