AUTOMATIC MEASUREMENT FUNCTIONALITY FOR IMRT PLANS
We have created a way to measure IMRT beams in sequence instead of starting and stopping for each individual beam. Just select the first beam and press start, then press stop after the complete delivery has finished!

To be able to use this functionality, the fields must be sorted in either clockwise or counter clockwise order. If they are not sorted, automatic measurement can be performed using the functionality automatic beam detection via inclinometer.

You first need to allow the measurement computer to work as an “Automatic measurement station”. To do this, go to Tools and choose Configuration. In the dialog, choose Measurement tab, and tick the box at the bottom that says Automatic Field Sequencing, as shown in the image below:

When this is done, you can open the patient to be measured.

1.    Select the field that the treatment machine will start with.
2.    If the fields are be delivered in a clockwise order, start the measurement by pressing the clockwise button.
If the fields are to be delivered in a counter-clockwise order press the counter clockwise button.
3.    Start the treatment and run all beams (e.g. in auto set up mode)
4.    Then click on the stop button and save the measurement

MICROSOFT SUPPORT IS ENDING FOR WINDOWS 7 – HOW DOES THIS AFFECT THE DELTA4 SOFTWARE?
Since January 14 2020 Microsoft is no longer supporting Windows 7 and are not providing security updates. If you continue to use Windows 7 after support has ended, your PC will become more vulnerable to security risk. Because of this, all Windows users are recommended to upgrade to Windows 10.

The Delta4 Software is fully compatible with Windows 10 as long as you are running software version October 2016 or later.
To see what version you are running, open up your Delta4 Software and go to Help/About. Here you also get information on when your warranty/Service contract expires. On our homepage you can always find the latest Software version.

Contact your local sales representative to upgrade to a Windows 10 compatible version of the Delta4 Software. Make sure you are keeping your clinical environment productive and secure!

SUPPORT PACKAGE EXPORT
A Support Package is a folder containing a copy of your Equipment database, an anonymized patient measurement, temporary data for the measurement and a Debug Log file. Support packages are very useful if you want to share your measurements with the ScandiDos support team. To create a support package, open the measurement you want to share, click File/Export measurement and choose file format Support Package.
